Branding for interior designer Grace Tan. A beautiful play of words to form Graceous Design, Grace wanted something that really reflected her personality and work ethics when it comes to design. Graceous Design is a residential and commercial design practice, and they combine modern and vintage elements together to create an awesome space that enriches lives and help organizations flourish.
I brought her away from the usual minimalist and emotionless logos plaguing interior designers, as well as staying away from logos that play too much on furniture or wallpaper elements. Grace and I agreed it had to be more lifestyle based as she could potentially expand into soft furnishings or even custom lifestyle pieces.
The end result was a modern and vivacous logo. We had elements like an open birdcage to signify space, birds for freedom and creativity and flowers for beauty. Chinoiserie elements are also present to tie the whole look together and used in different media.
